Enbridge Sunday Creek Terminal Expansion
Civil contract was to allow for a new substation, four new VFD buildings, 1 new Electrical building and an extension to the existing pump building. Work included to relocate the topsoil stock pile, underground conduits, install culverts, re-slope the site due to drainage issues, installation of rip rap and the sub-grading for foundations all within an existing operating facility. The topsoil soil pile was sloped and hydro seeded for erosion control.
New construction work also included site prep for piling activities, structural steel installation of cable tray supports, substation work including resistivity rock and managing subcontractors for soil compaction and surveys. During construction Chemco was responsible for maintaining access for Enbridge Operations.
